Day Two in Houston (Galveston)

Today we drove to the southern tip of Houston (Galveston). We started out in old town Galveston. We went to a fun old fashion candy shop where they made and pulled taffy in front of us! It was so cool

First he put it on ththe puller.

Then he added the red strip (he had a separate piece of red). Finally he had to stretch s mold the taffy to get it into the machine that cuts and wraps it. This machine is 103 years old. It was really cool to watch this process.

The guy threw samples of the taffy at us--which was delicious. We bought some and left. The boys were so anxious to get to the beach-- especially chandler.

We did take a few more pictures before we left Galveston downtown.

We drove out to the beach and had a wonderful time playing in the ocean!  The boys loved it. Perfect weather! Carter and I made a sandcastle.
