Fantastic EXTRA LONG Date Night

So Bryan and I had our "romantic getaway" this past weekend!! It was so much fun! We started the night by eating at "Texas Roadhouse" -- we shared the prime rib, it was the best tastin' dinner I have had! Then we headed to the Ford Center for the OKC Thunder against Detriot Pistons. It was a fun game and the Thunder actually won!

We saw several friends from our ward there. In fact, one of our friends, Dosha Salee, came up and found us! Bryan ended up going and sitting by Dosha's husband and Dosha sat by me during the second half and we chatted while we watched the game!! It was FUN!!

After the game, we headed for the movie theatre and the only non-R rated movie that was not sold out was "The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons". So, we went. OH my word, it was bad. We didn't really like it at all. Some parts were good, but the movie as a whole was weird. I was a little bored, and was happy when it finally ended 3 hours later. Okay, may be it wasn't exactly 3 hours, but it was long!

We found our hotel room and talked for a while, went to bed, slept in and had a nice drive home! It was so nice to get away for a short time! WE BOTH LOVED IT and said we should do it more often -- may be once a year or so.

I love my husband!! He is kind and fun and easy to talk to! He makes me laugh and listens to my troubles! He is very handsome and I will love him forever!! Thanks for a great over-nighter!!

Saturday evening rolled around and some friends and family (Aaron and Kim) were getting together for dinner. Even though we just finished our romantic getaway the night before; we didn't want to miss the party, so we went to dinner with everyone. There were four couples, Aaron and Kim, Jim and Charity, Rob and Valina and us! We went to the "Texas Roadhouse" again--no worries--we love this place! We had a real nice dinner talked and laughing. Then we drove to the church and played volleyball in the gym for a while. Dennis and Erica joined us! It was so much fun playing volleyball!! Good times with friends!! :)
