As most of you know, Bryan and his brothers build this nice cabin on one of our farms. They also enlarged the pond and added a dock! It is a real fun place to go with the kids! It is perfect for having a BBQ, going fishing, telling stories by the campfire and watching movies with your cousins. Sometimes we just go to hang out for a little while, and then go back home.
Not this past Monday night but the Monday before that, we took the children out to the cabin for Family Home Evening. The kids did some fishing while I cooked some hamburgers on the grill!

This is the main area of the cabin with the stairs going up to the loft.
Shantelle is standing near the eating area. Notice the TV and DVD player on the corner shelves!
This is the wonderful stove that keeps the cabin nice and toasty in the winter time. Several of the kids went fishing and caught these small fish!! Of course we put them back in the pond, so we can catch them again. :) Melanie and her children came and joined us! We all had a great time! Once it started getting dark, we headed home and went to bed. It was a real fun evening at the cabin!

That looks like a fun cabin. Wish we could come see it for ourselves. That was a pretty huge turtle.

Wow, we want to come too. Is there a danger of kids falling in the pond?
Dad says "I hope you didn't put that big snapping turtle in the pond because it will eat all the fish and then you won't have any to throw back". "The turtle catches them, but doesn't throw them back out."
