Now for the rest of the story--trip

When we got down the mountain, back to Melba, we went on a short tour of Travis and Justin's cattle ranch!! It was big and awesome! Darren and Melanie then met us at Uncle Mike's house and we stayed with them the rest of our trip! It was so much fun being with Darren and Melanie! It was nice being spoiled by them (it seems like there is always a big group of us out-of-towners and we have to share everyone; but this time it was just Bryan and I hangin' with Darren and Melanie)!! Of course we got to see a lot of the Waltmans; which is always a blast!! We had dinner the first night with Megan and Monte at Lone Star in Nampa, where Judson works. :) Then we met Vaughn and Allison for dessert!! When we went back to Darren's house Jared and Lisa and Julie and Mike came over!! We always have a FUN time chatting with the Waltman and renewing old relationships!!

The next day Melanie took me to see their subdivision behind their house -- it is well laid out and seems like a great place! Then we went to Issac's basketball! He is a PLAYER!! He is pretty big for his age, but can really handle the ball. He knows how to make a nice lay-in!! The 2-3 grade girls game was next, which featured Catlin and Mallary. They were fun to watch! Issac had another game which ended up being a lot more aggressive then the first one! Still Issac was the star and played really well! Melanie and I went to lunch at the 'Sunrise Cafe' there in Middleton. We met the men back at the house (Bryan had met some salesman in Nampa to talk about the coming summer). I took a short nap and then we went up to the high school for the Freshman/Sophomore Game. Preston played really well and even showed Bryan some 'love' when he made his first basket of the game!! Preston got to play 12 minutes or so of the game and did a GREAT job!! Darren and Jared took us on the tour of Julie, Sheri, and Lisa's new homes!! They were all really nice and big and beautiful! I loved seeing where everyone lives! It is fun that they all live pretty close to each other! We got back to the school in time to see Ross play on the varsity team!! WOW!! That boy can handle the ball! He is REALLY GOOD at passing the ball around and is aware of where all his teammates are on the court! They won! Ross also showed Bryan some love when he made a NICE basket!! It was fun being part of the Waltman crowd!! We ended up going to Aunt Carolee's house for pizza after the game. We visited for a few minutes before everyone went home. Let's see there was: Aunt Carolee, Uncle Glen, Valerie and Bryce(who live there right now and their two girls), Brandon and Natalie and their two cute children, Julie and Mike, Darren and Melanie, Sheri and Elliot, and who else?? I think that is all! It was so much fun!!

I loved hanging out with Melanie and sharing stories and concerns and joys with her! She is a great hostess! I have always enjoyed being around Melanie, so it was fun for me to spend some one on one time with her! It was also nice getting to know Megan and Monte better! They are GREAT!! We talked a lot about Pest Control the whole time we were together!

We stayed the night with Darren and Melanie again. The next morning we drove to Judy's house and then she drove us on over to the airport! We had a nice flight home! It is nice to be back home! The children were happy to see us again! It was a wonderful trip and I am so glad we got to go!! Thanks to the Seabourns and Mom Christensen for watching the children so we could go! We are blessed with a great extended family!! I love it!!!
