I think we had one of the best Christmases ever! It was really nice and fun and all the children were excited about their gifts and were grateful for them! I did several things for Bryan this year: painted his media room and put up vinyl for Steelers, BSU and BYU! I also made a quilt to go with his room and each of the children wrote a little note on some of the squares! I also made four signs for each of our farms that say "Christensen Angus Ranch". Bryan got a few other things, but it was fun to make some things for him! He loved the signs the BEST!

Christmas is suppose to be FUN! :)
On Christmas Eve I was a little upset that I wasn't enjoying the holidays! I was trying to get everything finished up and I still needed to clean the house and wrap more presents. I was feeling bad I hadn't gotten all my packages sent out and I wish I was more organized so I could enjoy the holidays with the children by playing games, making gingerbread houses and putting together puzzles!
That night we went to Kim and Aaron's house for treats and acting out the nativity! It turned out to be a GREAT evening! Bryan's parents came up from Lawton with Mark and Michelle so there was a full house with all of the OKC families (Bryan, Aaron and Dennis). We ate some delicious treats and then talked for a few minutes while the children got ready for the nativity. Aaron read the story from the scriptures as the children acted it out. I wish I had taken some pictures, but I was taking video instead. We then sang some Christmas songs (it is great having some piano players in the family: Erica and Kim are great!)!! The younger children went upstairs to play while we had a testimony meeting. It was GREAT! The Spirit was there. I love sharing testimonies and life experiences with each other. The older grandchildren were with us and I truly enjoying hearing my own children bear their testimony of Christ!Everyone was excited to go to bed, even Bryan because he wasn't feeling well. So I finished wrapping present and got ready for Santa. I was excited for Christmas once I looked around and everything was set up ready for the children!
They woke up at 6:30 and asked if we could all open presents. The children started a tradition several years ago where they make and sleep together in a tent! This year the tent was put together in Gretchen's room. Since the children's bedroom and the master bedroom is separated by family room, they can't going walking through the family room on Christmas morning to ask if they can get up; so we call each other on the phones. When I woke up Christmas morning I was VERY EXCITED for Christmas: I love watching the children!!! Their faces and expressions are SOO cute! So we all got up saw what Santa left for each one of us and then started opening presents!! It was so much fun!

Donna, your Christmas went wonderful. How do you do all that you do. How did you make all those signs? How did you paint his media room without him seeing it. It looks beautiful. I love it. You are so talented.
